• Left controller: Press and hold the Capture button for 1 second.
• Right controller: Press and hold the HOME button for 1 second.

When the J30 is already connected to a Switch that is in sleep mode, press and hold the HOME button on the right controller for 1 second to reconnect and wake the console.

The J30 can wake both Switch 1 and Switch 2. If wake-up does not work, wake the console manually and reconnect the controller.

1. On Switch 2, go to Controllers > Change Grip/Order.
2. With the J30 powered off, press and hold the pairing button for 3 seconds until the player LEDs flash rapidly in sequence.
3. After about 3–5 seconds, the corresponding player LED will stay solid, indicating a successful connection.

1. On Switch 1, go to Controllers > Change Grip/Order.
2. With both J30 controllers powered off, press Pairing + - on the left controller and Pairing + + on the right controller until the player LEDs flash rapidly in sequence.
3. After about 3–5 seconds, the corresponding player LEDs will stay solid, indicating a successful connection.

The left and right J30 controllers must be paired separately, one side at a time.

Left controller:

1. Insert the receiver into a USB port on the PC and press and hold the receiver button for 1 second until the indicator flashes rapidly.
2. With the left controller powered off, press and hold Pairing + - for 3 seconds until the player LEDs flash rapidly in sequence.
3. When connected, player LEDs 2, 3, and 4 stay solid. The device appears as “Xbox 360 Controller for Windows.”

Attach the left and right J30 controllers to Switch 2 using the magnetic rails.

• During pairing, the controller enters sleep mode after 2 minutes 30 seconds if no connection is established.
• During normal use, the controller enters sleep mode after 5 minutes with no button or stick input.

To change the lighting mode, press the lighting button on the back of the controller. The four modes are Rainbow (default), Solid, Breathing, and Off.

To change the color in Solid or Breathing mode:

• Left controller: Lighting button + Left Stick Left/Right
• Right controller: Lighting button + Right Stick Left/Right

Available colors: White (default), Yellow-Green, Green, Blue, Cyan, Purple, and Red.

To adjust brightness:

• Left controller: Lighting button + Left Stick Up/Down
• Right controller: Lighting button + Right Stick Up/Down

Brightness levels: Off, 20, 50, 80 (default), and 100.

Turbo can be assigned to left/right stick directions, A/B/X/Y, L/R, ZL/ZR, L3/R3, and D-pad directions.

1. To set Turbo:

• Hold the desired function button + T to enable semi-auto Turbo.
• Hold the same combination again to enable full-auto Turbo.
• Hold the same combination a third time to disable Turbo.

2. To clear Turbo:

• Left controller: Hold T + - for 1 second.
• Right controller: Hold T + + for 1 second.

3. To adjust Turbo speed: Hold T and move the corresponding stick left/right. Left decreases the speed and right increases it.

Note: Turbo settings are not saved and must be set again after the controller restarts.

• Left controller: Press and hold T + - for 1 second to clear all Turbo settings on the left controller.
• Right controller: Press and hold T + + for 1 second to clear all Turbo settings on the right controller.

• Left controller: Hold T and move the left stick up/down.
• Right controller: Hold T and move the right stick up/down.

Move the stick up to increase vibration and down to decrease it.

The levels cycle through Strong, Medium, Weak, and Off. The RGB light flashes red once as feedback when the level changes.

The selected vibration level is saved.

Default assignments: ML = L3 and MR = R3.

Supported macro inputs:

• Left controller: left-stick directions, D-pad directions, L, ZL, -, and L3
• Right controller: right-stick directions, A/B/X/Y, R, ZR, +, and R3

To program a macro:

• Press and hold T + ML or MR for 3 seconds. The RGB light will stay green to indicate programming mode.
• Enter the desired button sequence.
• Press ML or MR again to save and exit programming mode.
• Up to 21 inputs can be recorded in one macro.

To clear a macro:

• Press and hold T + ML or MR for 3 seconds.
• When the RGB light stays green, press the same rear button once to clear it.

Macro settings are saved.

Press T + ML or T + MR once for about 1 second. The RGB light will flash red once to enable Turbo for the programmed macro. Press the same combination again for about 1 second to disable macro Turbo.

Yes. In handheld mode, the J30 can charge from the Switch console. When the controller battery level is above 50%, it will not draw power from the console, helping preserve the console’s battery.

Press and hold the pairing button for 3 seconds. When the controller powers on and enters pairing mode, the player LEDs display the battery level for about 1 second:

• LED1: 0–30%
• LED1 + LED2: 30–50%
• LED1 + LED2 + LED3: 50–80%
• LED1 + LED2 + LED3 + LED4: 70–100%

You can charge the J30 through a controller grip/charging accessory using a standard USB cable and a 5V DC power source, such as a phone charger or a computer USB port. A full charge takes approximately 2.5 hours. A compatible fast charger can also be used. The J30 can also charge from the Switch console.

1. With the controllers powered on, press and hold T + - on the left controller for 3 seconds and T + + on the right controller for 3 seconds. The RGB lights will flash red and blue alternately to indicate calibration mode.
2. Rotate the left and right sticks fully around their outer edges 2–3 times.
3. Place the controllers flat on a level surface, then press - on the left controller and + on the right controller to complete calibration.

If the controller freezes or behaves abnormally, use a pin to press the reset hole on the back of the controller for about 1 second. You should feel or hear a click, and the controller will power off when the reset is complete.

Press and hold the T button for 10 seconds. The controller will vibrate once to confirm the reset. Turbo, vibration, and macro settings will be restored to their default values.
