How do I attach the J20 to a Switch for handheld mode?

Slide the left and right controllers into the console rails to use them in handheld mode. After connecting them through the rails for the first time, you can detach them and continue using them wirelessly.

How do I connect the J20 to Nintendo Switch via Bluetooth?

On the Switch, go to Controllers→ Change Grip/Order. With both controllers powered off, press and hold the pairing button on each controller for 3 seconds. The player indicator lights will remain solid when the connection is successful.

How do I connect the J20 to a PC with the receiver?

1. Insert the receiver into a USB port on the PC. Press and hold the pairing button on the receiver for 2 seconds until its indicator flashes rapidly.

2. With the controller powered off, press and hold its pairing button for 3 seconds. The player indicator lights will flash in sequence. Pair the two controllers separately, completing one side before pairing the other.

3. When connected successfully, player indicators 2, 3, and 4 will remain solid. The controller will appear as "Xbox 360 Controller for Windows."

4. Repeat the steps above to pair the other controller: press and hold the receiver pairing button for 2 seconds, press and hold the controller pairing button for 3 seconds, and wait until player indicators 2, 3, and 4 remain solid.

How do I turn the J20 on or off and wake the Switch?

Press the Capture button on the left controller or the HOME button on the right controller to power on or reconnect. The HOME button on the right controller can also be used to try to wake a Switch in sleep mode. To power off, press and hold the corresponding pairing button or the HOME button.

How do I enable, adjust, or disable Turbo on the J20?

Hold the desired function button and the T button to cycle through semi-automatic Turbo, automatic Turbo, and off. Use the T button with the left or right stick to adjust the Turbo speed. Press T + - to clear Turbo settings on the left controller, or T + + to clear them on the right controller.

How do I program or clear the J20 ML and MR rear buttons?

Press and hold T + ML or T + MR for about 3 seconds to enter programming mode. Enter the desired button sequence, then press ML or MR again to save it. To clear the setting, enter programming mode again and press the corresponding rear button without entering any other buttons.

How do I adjust the J20 RGB lighting and vibration?

Press the lighting button to switch between Rainbow, Always On, Breathing, and Off modes. Use the lighting button together with the stick to adjust the color and brightness. Hold the T button and move the corresponding stick up or down to switch the vibration between strong, medium, weak, and off.

How do I connect the J20 to the KeyLinker app?

Enable Bluetooth and location permissions on your phone, but do not connect the controller through the phone's system Bluetooth settings first. Open the KeyLinker app, put one controller side into pairing mode, and connect it from the app's device list. Only one side can be connected to the app at a time.

How do I update the J20 firmware?

Use the KeyLinker app to update the left and right controllers separately. Only one side can be updated at a time. After one side is complete, repeat the process for the other side.

How do I charge the J20, and can it charge while attached to the Switch?

The J20 can be charged through the Switch console, a charging grip, or a standard 5V USB power source. When attached to the Switch, it can charge directly from the console. A full charge takes approximately 2.5 hours.

How long does the J20 battery last?

Battery life is approximately 16 hours with the RGB lighting off and approximately 5–7 hours with the RGB lighting on.

How do I check the J20 battery level?

When the controller powers on and pairs, the player indicator lights briefly show the remaining battery level. More illuminated indicators mean a higher remaining charge. When the battery is low, the RGB lights and player indicators will provide a warning.

How do I calibrate the J20 sticks and motion controls?

Console calibration: Go to System Settings > Controllers and Sensors > Calibrate Control Sticks on the Switch and test whether the sticks are working properly. If there is an issue, follow the on-screen instructions to complete calibration and record a video of the test. After calibration, press and hold the console's POWER button for 12 seconds to fully shut it down and reset it.

Controller calibration:

1. With the controllers powered on, press and hold T + - on the left controller for 3 seconds and T + + on the right controller for 3 seconds. The red and blue RGB lights will flash alternately to indicate calibration mode.

2. Rotate the left and right sticks fully around their outer edges 2–3 times.

3. Place the controllers flat on a level surface, then press - on the left controller and + on the right controller to complete calibration.

How do I reset the J20?

Hardware reset: Insert a pin into the reset hole on the back of the controller and press it for about 1 second. The controller will power off when the hardware reset is complete. To restore Turbo, vibration, and macro settings to their defaults, press and hold the T button for 10 seconds.

What should I do if my character moves by itself or motion controls act unexpectedly?

First calibrate the control sticks and gyroscope in the Switch system settings. After calibration, fully shut down and restart the console. If the issue continues, reset the controller and reconnect it.

What should I do if the J20 disconnects in multiplayer or motion-control games?

Some multiplayer or motion-control games require the left and right controllers to be recognized as separate controllers. Open the Change Grip/Order screen, then press SL and SR on the corresponding controller to pair it as a single controller.

How do I connect the J20 to Switch 2 via Bluetooth?

On Switch 2, go to System Settings → Controllers & Accessories → Change Grip/Order.

Make sure the J20 controllers are powered off, then press and hold the pairing button on each controller for about 3 seconds to enter pairing mode. When the player indicator lights stay solid, the connection is successful.

Once connected, the J20 can be used as a wireless controller with Switch 2.

What should I do if the J20 does not lock securely onto the console?

The fit of the left and right controllers in the rails may vary slightly. If a controller is noticeably loose, does not lock into place, or detaches easily, check the rail orientation and inspect the rails and locking tabs for debris or damage.
